Selecting a school to attend is an exciting moment in any child’s development and a decision which can impact not only the next few years, but the rest of their lives.

Every student at Taminmin College is given the right tools to succeed. We pride ourselves on having access to the latest technologies, teaching methods, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and innovative pathway courses to help our students with both high academic achievement and real-world experience.

We are currently on a Priority Enrolment Plan and not accepting enrolments from outside our catchment area this is in accordance with the Department of Education priority enrolment area.

Year 7 Feeder School Enrolment – (Humpty Doo Primary, Howard Springs, Girraween Primary, Bees Creek Primary, Berry Springs Primary, Middle Point Primary) – No interview required unless there are special circumstances.

Year 7 to Year 12 Enrolment – require an interview if residing within the feeder area. Students outside the feeder area are unable to attend, unless they have a sibling already enrolled or have been accepted into a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course.

What to bring to your enrolment interview:

  • Completed enrolment pack
  • Proof of residency – (Eg: rates notice or power notice) Please provide a copy
  • Most recent School report – Please provide a copy
  • Birth Certificate – Please provide a copy
  • Interstate Enrolments – Please complete Interstate Transfer Note (if applicable)

If your child requires medication, please click here to download the Student Medication Request Form and bring to the interview.

Resource Package

In the interest of providing the best possible educational opportunities for your children, we encourage parents to purchase our resource package. This will enable us to provide more opportunities and resources for students’ education to supplement the base level school funding. Students will have access to the latest digital and online resources and textbooks.

The annual cost for Years 7 – 9                            $210.00

The annual cost for Years 10 – 12                                    $260.00
