celebrating 40 years

Taminmin College RTO being announced as the winner of the NT Small Training Provider of the Year, followed by being awarded the Australian Small Training Provider of the Year.

2019

2018 – STEAM building officially opened 16 February 2018

2017

Overseas excursion to China

First year as an Independent Public School

2014

Special Education Centre and new Canteen opening

2013

Taminmin College 30th anniversary – students created the Taminmin tree and word REACH for poster seen around school

2010

School name changed from Taminmin High School to Taminmin College

2009

Vocational Education and Training – The school was a national finalist in the Australian Training Awards in VET in Schools Excellence. 2009 Nominee in three categories in the Chief Minister’s Awards for Excellence in the Public Sector. in the categories of; Building a Skilled Workforce Category, Improving Outcomes for Indigenous Territorians and Strengthening Regional and Remote NT.

2008

Australian Technical College building completed – Construction and Automotive workshop

2007

Compulsory uniform policy begins. Opening commercial kitchen for VET Hospitality Courses. Completion of Block 20. First school musical – “Cold as Ice”

Artist Richard McLean donated by Taminmin ASSPA Committee

Taminmin has excess of 500 students
