Middle Years Curriculum

Middle Years Curriculum

The goal of our middle years program is for students to develop study and learning skills through core subjects and a variety of specialty subjects. Students follow the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) for years 7-9 enriched through our extensive facilities including the STEAM centre, 75 hectare tropical farm and 150 hectare nature reserve.

Taminmin’s Middle School provides a rich student focused program for students in years 7, 8 and 9. The middle years of schooling constitutes a stage of schooling where young adolescents explore themselves and the world they live in. Students have distinctive and diverse needs due to the very significant developmental changes in this period. By focusing on success for all students we strive to ensure meaningful and rich experiences preparing students for great achievements in their senior years.
