
Taminmin College boasts many facilities throughout the campus, catering for all students.
Special Education Centre
The Special Education Centre (SEC) is a purpose-built facility for students with additional needs. Students have access to mainstream and VET courses as part of the curriculum offerings.
Steam Centre
Taminmin College newest and only two storey building, The STEAM centre is a facility that allows for flexible learning in the areas of mathematics, science and agriculture.
Performing Arts Centre
The Dance room host’s floor to ceiling practice mirrors and dance flooring.
The Music rooms consist of two soundproof practice rooms and one large classroom.
The Drama room is a large welcoming space with many props and costumes, this is where the magic happens.
Gymnasium
The Gymnasium is a multi-purpose space with the ability to seat 375 people. The Gymnasium turns from the everyday sports arena into the theatre where, annually, the performing arts students and staff perform a spectacular musical, along with award ceremonies and celebrations. The Gymnasium is used in the wet season as a disaster shelter for the rural community.
Taminmin Farm
Taminmin has a mixed tropical produce training farm of 75 hectares which is fully integrated into our educational programs, as well as Vocational Education and Training (VET).

- Stud Brahman Cattle
- Riding School horses
- Horticulture
- Aquaculture
Woodside Reserve
The natural resource area of 150 hectares was named Woodside to acknowledge the assistance given by Woodside Energy Ltd in developing this area into a teaching and learning resource for the school. The reserve is a valuable teaching resource and students use this facility across the curriculum.

Outdoor Equipment
Taminmin has outdoor facilities that can be accessed by students during recess and lunch breaks, these outdoor spaces are also regularly used by classes. Located at the front of the campus is an adventure playground, housed under a shade structure, the playground enables student use during all weather conditions.
There are two ovals; the main oval is the larger of the two and has AFL goal posts. The middle school oval has multi-purpose goal posts.
An outdoor undercover basketball and netball court provides ample space for students to play, this is also where our whole school assemblies are held and our evacuation muster point.
